About the role

Reporting to the Centre Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programs and daily routines for children 0-5 years of age attending the Thomas Carlyle Children's Centre.



  • Help design and implement an educational program following and Implementing the EYLF
  • Ensure compliance with service policies and national regulations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families
  • Support the health, well being and development of children
  • Provide pedagogical leadership


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Teaching/Education (Early Childhood Education) recognised by ACECQA
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Current Working with Children Clearance Number
  • Current First Aid, Child Protection and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Child Protection training (or a willingness to obtain) and a good understanding of the Child Safe Standards
  • Ability to plan and implement an educational program reflective of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Experience working in a Long Day Care environment
