Bordered on the North by Ku-ring-gai National Park and the South by Lane Cove National Park, this leafy municipality offers its library service from four branches based at Gordon, Lindfield, St Ives and Turramurra.
Council is currently seeking a self-motivated and experienced librarian to develop and maintain specialist services with an emphasis on promoting awareness of, and interest in, Local Studies through user education, presentations, displays and activities.
This role will see you be involved in developing, implementing and reviewing the training of customers and staff in the effective use of relevant information tools and technologies and promoting an understanding of resources held in the Local studies, family history and archival collections. .**As a part of the branch network team this role will be required to work at any of our libraries as rostered. A willingness to work flexible hours on occasion, including rostered evening and weekend work will be required**
