  • Salary $76,382.62 - $88,603.99 p/a + super
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence & WorkCover WHS White Card
  • Tertiary Qualifications Essential

 

Located 16 km's north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales' most attractive natural environments.

 

Council is seeking applications from suitably qualified professionals for the role of Project Engineer.

 

Reporting to the Team Leader Design & Projects and working within our Civil Works Team, this role will see you carry out investigation, survey, design, cost estimation and construction supervision of engineering works.

 

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Input and development of tender documents
  • Preparation of cost estimates for capital works projects
  • Contract management & administration
  • Providing technical advice to support the successful delivery of projects

To be considered for this role you will require relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and substantial experience in a similar role.

A Current Class C driver's licence is essential, along with a WorkCover WHS white card and Traffic Control accreditation cards.

Knowledge of local government legislation and polices would be desirable, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders – both internal and external.

 

This position is 35 hours per week with access to flexi time.
